BERWYN, PA, October 26, 2016 – Brian Gibson and Lisa Marlin were hired by Coho Partners, Ltd., an independent, employee-owned investment firm that manages approximately $4.8 billion in individually managed account assets on behalf of institutions, individuals, and UMA programs. Coho Partners was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Berwyn, Pennsylvania (www.cohopartners.com).
Mr. Gibson is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and management guidance on all operational aspects of the firm. He will report to Glenn Dever, President. “Brian is a great cultural fit” said Mr. Dever. “His attention to detail and problem-solving ability will undoubtedly improve productivity and enhance our ability to integrate technological efficiencies.”
Ms. Marlin is responsible for enhancing the internal client servicing efforts at the firm. She will report to Wayne LeSage, Client Relations Director. “Lisa elevates our client service efforts by bringing valuable experience combined with a methodical work ethic.” said Mr. LeSage. “Lisa came highly recommended to us and stands to be a vital asset in our effort to consistently maintain excellent client service. Before joining Coho Partners, Mr. Gibson spent 8 years at Peirce Park Group in various roles, most recently as Investment Operations Manager and a member of their Investment Committee. Mr. Gibson graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and earned the right to use the Professional Risk Manager designation.
Prior to Coho Partners, Ms. Marlin managed subadviser reporting and communications at the Nationwide Investment Management Group. Prior to Nationwide, Ms. Marlin spent 12 years at Turner Investments where she managed the firm’s institutional client relations support efforts. Ms. Marlin began her financial career with Morgan Stanley Investment Management/Miller Anderson Sherrerd, LLP. Ms. Marlin graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science.
