The Coho Relative Value ESG portfolio of 25 to 35 securities is a combination of Demand Defensive companies and Economically Sensitive companies which provide a level of defense (generally predictable growth in earnings, dividends, and cash flow) and offense (stable business models with modest cyclicality) to the overall strategy.  

Demand-Defensive companies – 40 to 70% of the portfolio

  • Consumer Staples, Health Care, and Utilities
  • Potential to significantly outperform in down markets and compete in all but the strongest up markets

Economically-Sensitive companies – 30 to 60% of the portfolio

  • Communication Services, Consumer Discretionary, Energy, Financial Services, Industrials, Information Technology, Materials, and Real Estate
  • Potential to provide competitive upside performance in rising markets
